Confidentiality Policy
It is recognised that this policy and its implementation will continue to develop as appropriate to meet the needs of a growing congregation. Holy Trinity MCC Edinburgh aims to uphold requirements of the Data Protection Act within all aspects of its confidentiality policy.

More specifically:

All personal data of congregants, shall remain confidential and will only be released to authorised Committee members, clergy on staff, or Ministry Team Co-ordinators who require this information to perform their ministry functions.

Photographs, videos, and personal information may appear on the church's webpage only with the expressed written permission of the congregants.

Church financial records will be kept securely stored by the Treasurer and Pastor as appropriate. Records of financial support will be kept securely stored by the Treasurer.

Personnel records will be kept securely stored by the Pastor. The Pastor’s personnel records will be kept securely stored by the designated Link Person on Committee. All Disclosure records will be stored by the Disclosure Co-ordinator.

Minutes of Committee meetings are available for review by members of the congregation, with the exception of minutes for closed sessions. Minutes of closed sessions will be securely stored by the Committee Secretary and the Pastor.
